I noticed that radio as well, and I'm very interested. I've been looking for a radio for my 4x4. The FTM-10R is appealing for the weather proofing, dual band, and the BCB FM and AM reception, intercom, and line-in ("ipod"). I can make room for the radio by tossing out my well-abused stereo headunit in the dash. ...but I'd need another radio for APRS. This FTM-350 would fill that niche. Dual band - one for APRS, one for talking. BCB FM (or line in, I presume) for something to listen to when not talking, all in one radio mounted in one slot. Bonus, that it's supposed to have APRS functionality built in so I can eliminate one more item from the pile of stuff. All of the features of the D710A in my car, plus the intercom and broadcast reception. If the price is comparable, I'm very interested. -Tom KE7VUX
