[aprssig] Lowrance HDS-5 Baja Off-Road GPS Chartplotter and APRS

This is the GPS I plan on getting in the next month and was wondering if it 
will work with a Kenwood TM-D710A?

Under the specs it says it has:
NMEA 0183 Input
NMEA 0183 Interface up to 38,400 baud
NMEA 2000 Pending Certification
NMEA Output 0183/2000
Connectors NMEA 2000®, NMEA 0183 and Ethernet

One question I have is can I upload info from the radio to the GPS to show 
someone's location as an Icon??
