[aprssig] Low power APRS digi that allows additional data

Sounds to me like a task purpose created for a Kantronics KPC3+ in it's 
'low power' mode.

See the manual at the Kantronics site for details - and decide if it'll 
do what you want.

low power
has the analog and digital inputs you're after
proven reliability for remote sites.
