Update to APRS WX formats A new radiation field Xxxxx has been proposed by IZ6RDB for the reporting of background radiation levels from such equipped weather stations. This was proposed months and years ago, but I cannot find where it ever formally made into the APRS weather spec addendum 1.2. So I have now added it as a proposal. We need to define the value field "xxxx" to be between 3 and 4 bytes, so we need an agreed set of units? Any experts care to comment? Additionaly the provision for FLOOD levels and battery VOLTS was added back in 2006 and so I have folded those into the same overall APRS12 update in this new file: http://aprs.org/aprs12/weather-new.txt I will admit that in the past, I left most of the Weather details to Dale Hugley and never fully documented what was going on with weather warnings, etc and left the documentation of such up to others. If Dale has moved on to other things, who is the new weather czar that is filling that coordination role? And can make sure that we have a single reference for Weather stuff... Bob, Wb4APR
