I have a VX8GR. Regardless of which of A or B is active, B will rx and beacon APRS as configured and A can be used to rx/tx on a local repeater or simplex freq. By "as configured" I mean automatic (at a set period), smartbeaconing or manual. 73, -jav w6vms
