Yep, mobile me costs $100.00 per year for one, or $150.00 per year for 5 people. The total service is nice. Web site, 10GB storage for files and your gallery of Picts and/or videos. Plus you can sync calendar, contacts, etc between your phones, iPads/iPods etc. Put something on you calendar on you desktop, it appears on you phone. Pretty handy. With iDisk as well, it is a great way to keep things handy when you need them. You can of course log into the web site and find you misplaced iPhone too, and access your calendar, gallery etc. Gregg Wonderly W5GGW Sent from my iPhone On Jun 18, 2010, at 10:35 PM, Javier Henderson <Javier at cisco.com> wrote: > * Gregg Wonderly <gregg at wonderly.org> [100618 16:09]: > >> If you have an Apple mobile-me account, you can place all of these >> documents on your iDisk, and then anywhere that you have network >> access, >> you can instantly find them on you iPhone/iPod/iPad, and it will be >> cached >> locally in most cases so you don't have to download it all the time >> either. >> This works great when you don't have your laptop with you. > > Another otion to share files, free, is DropBox (though it does not > let you sync > contacts, etc., as mobile.me does). > > 73, > -jav w6vms > > _______________________________________________ > aprssig mailing list > aprssig at tapr.org > https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
