Another thing regarding KPC3's. They should have their DCD set to
SOFTWARE. This eliminates the 'hung squelch' problem, assuming that it
was hung due to noise but not actual packets. If it is due to actual
packet traffic, then double check the PERSIST, SLOTTIME and DWAIT
params.
