Recently Randy WF5X suggested that the APRS over PSK-63 mode of APRS Messenger would make an ideal 10m beacon to promote activity and show band openings. I contacted Bill WJ5O who is the IARU Region 2 beacon coordinator and after some emails with Martin G3USF the Region 1 beacon coordinator who consulted with the Region 1 HF manager it has been suggested that 28.150 MHz would be a suitable frequency for APRS over PSK-63 on 10m in Region 1. Has anyone any opinions on the use of 28.150 MHz in the other IARU regions? 73, Chris, G4HYG -- Chris Moulding Cross Country Wireless (2009) Ltd 7 Thirlmere Grove, Bolton, Lancs, BL4 0QB, UK Tel/fax: +44(0)1204 410626 Mobile: +44(0)7752 391908 Website: http://www.crosscountrywireless.net Company number 6780346 registered in England and Wales
