Clay, Can you receive anything from the DIGI in HyperTerm? A relayed APRS packet, for example? It would seem if you can hear a response on the D700, then something should display in Hyperterm. Could it be a problem with the display settings in HyperTerm? I use WinPack mostly so I'm no that familiar with HyperTerm. One of the clubs have changed club callsigns soI need to make the change soon if not now. I have done this so many times before and cannot figure out what might be wrong. Yes I know the MYREMOTE callsign I gave them and since I cannot connect to any of the three I have control of I suspect I am doing something wrote here at home. 2m rig with an MFJ-1278 and windows hyperterminal. I go into command mode at the cmd: prompt I type c (the remote call) Listening in with a TM-D700A I hear the super digi respond on each try but never see the 6 character string only cmd: It took a lot for my to send this email so go easy, what the heck am I missing here? I've done this many times only it's been a while apparently...
