Getting back to testing, whether I use back-to-back TNCs or null-modemed serial ports, one end still needs a test simulator that will exercise all the appropriate test cases. Connecting my app to another copy of itself (or any other APRS client app) doesn't prove compliance. Anybody have such a test driver? Or do we need to write one? Not two TNCs, two serial ports. Connect 'em to each other with a null modem cable. Lie to the application(s) and say you've got KISS TNCs connected. > So which brand of stand-alone TNC should I buy next? OT USB or Tracker2. -Jason kg4wsv _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
