And even if you have Windows/MAC/Linux drivers, the driver may not output NEMA sequences. -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at tapr.org] On Behalf Of David Flood Sent: Sunday, April 01, 2012 18:06 Every USB device has its own driver. Unless you have a TNC that runs Windows (or for a few enlightened USB GPS', Linux or MAC) then you won't have a driver. RS232 doesn't require any special drivers. -----Original Message----- From: aprssig-bounces at tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at tapr.org] On Behalf Of Pat Cook Sent: Sunday, April 01, 2012 17:48 Sounds like what's going to have to happen is TNC's to convert to USB since EVERYTHING is going that way. What is holding back TNC manufacturers? What's holding back RADIO manufacturers? _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig
