Hi John
             I know the following is not what you are looking for
but it may help some one out there.

If you connect to a KPC3 via remote access the TNC automatically
drops out of kiss mode and enters CMD mode.

You can then change the parameters you want.
When you are done the last commands you would 
send are of course.
