Problem you have also pete is that there are existing objects out there that don't abide by the spec.. For example.... MAIL_FOR - sent by multiple stations http://aprs.fi/?call=MAIL_FOR&mt=roadmap&z=11&timerange=3600&_s=ss_call also RA http://aprs.fi/?call=i%2F226002150 now the question is... do I have object names with underscores in them (which I believe is ok) and not send out an item? Or do I ignore object names and barf back at the user if they use an underscore or a ! etc? Charlie
