Bob: They have weak receivers compared to todays units. Have one also. Takes forever to find the salelite. Let them run for at least 30 minutes if not used for a while. Found two of them in my junk drawer from a decade ago. Been on for an hour. No fix. Manual gives no hints. Says it should search the sky. Maybe something changed in 10 years and they will never work again? Anyone have experience with these?
