Just noticed a slightly older topic on multi input aprs digipeater on aprs.org, not sure if it was at the top of the front page longer but did notice one thing: Bob writes that a TNC like that (with 2 1k2 inputs 1 9k6 input and 1k2 and 9k6 outputs) does not exist yet, however it does, just not off the shelf, just hook up as many kiss tncs as needed including on inputs of repeaters to an embedded platform like mini industrial pc or car pc and run digi_ned on that, you can route trafic as needed and as a bonus also show what port the original packet is comming from. another bonus is that you can bridge several of these digipeaters together trough internet (ax/aprs-udp) for exsample to suport events crossing several aloha circles. yes I know these embeded pcs use more power then a single stand alone TNC but the flexabilety needed for this idea is to date only avialable (and already done at several locations) this way. 73 Andre PE1RDW
