No, it's not digipeating. ZZA has his path specifically set up to go through your WX/Digi. In short, currently, he's getting nowhere. 73 de Jim, KU0G From: aprssig-bounces at tapr.org [mailto:aprssig-bounces at tapr.org] On Behalf Of Max Harper Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2012 1:23 PM To: aprssig Subject: [aprssig] Where are these packets comming from? My weather station/ digi (KG4PID-15) has been down for a few days. My power supply smoked and is unplugged. But a local station W4ZZA-2 is showing that they are being digied through my station, days after power was removed. 2012-03-26 00:14:06 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15*,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 My station was working at this time 2012-03-27 09:39:31 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-27 12:14:38 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-28 11:30:00 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-28 12:30:01 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-28 12:40:01 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-28 13:45:02 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-29 09:20:18 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-29 12:50:20 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-29 12:55:20 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-29 13:05:21 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 2012-03-29 14:05:22 UTC: W4ZZA-2>BEACON,KG4PID-15,WIDE2,qAo,W1GG-1:!3413.63N/08737.38Wo/W4ZZA Haleyville EOC-Shelter w4zza.net 146.52 The first packet above from W4ZZA-2 was right before my power supply failed and is OK. The difference I noticed is that all the packets after that don't have "*" after my callsign. Is ther an unidentified station out there that is sending delayed packets? The last packet that APRS.FI shows for my station is 2012-03-26 00:21:06 UTC: KG4PID-15>BEACON,N4IDX-7,WIDE1*,WIDE2-2,qAR,KN4CI-10:>Digi / Weather kg4pid at yahoo.com Max KG4PID -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
