[aprssig] K6AEP-1 flaking out? or maybe KO6TH?

Lynn W. Deffenbaugh (Mr) ldeffenb at homeside.to

It looks like his good packet comes out about every 30 minutes and the
set of weird ones comes out every 32 minutes. So if you can keep it off
for maybe an hour and 10 minutes, it'll give two complete cycles without
your station showing up.

But only do that if your IGate isn't the only one in earshot of any
particular area!

Thanks for you help in determine what might be happening out there.

Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE for Windows Mobile and Win32

PS. I only noticed it because his station showed up as transmitting an
"unknown" Mic-E packet. Even aprs.fi think's it's Mic-E, but with the
APX201 toCall, I really doubt that it's even a D710! Certainly not a
native one transmitting it's own Mic-E packets!

Somehow I don't think W6CX-3 nor WA6TS-1 nor even your station would be
copying it from that lat/lon either.
