True. We offer no easy solution. Programmers usually do not like me to tell them how to implement things, so we left that up to the authors. Kenwood simply displays the Overlay in the upper left corner of a Pixel field. As stephen points out, this may not work for many of the standard icons. So eventually we need to evolve to a better way to do this. The reason we extended the overlays to all symbols was to give us a nearly unlimited supply of symbols (3000+) compared to the original <200. Bob, Wb4aPR
