[aprssig] firenet filters problem

I have not really seen anyone comment on the firenet issue I am not 
having.  It seems that it does not accept my filter string (which is the 
same i have used for years).  When I revert to a trivial filter (m/500) 
it seems to accept but NEVER sends any packets down the connection to me.
