Yea, but the group search algorithm is rather crude and finds anything with any of the single words, so results are rather cluttered. It's not my project. I received an email via the ARRL asking for info and decided to filter it first rather than posting the guy's address here. 73, Steve, K9DCI --- Bruce wrote: Hi Steve You found them! Sorry of not including the links in my message. I was struggling to get the message sent before the cat walked across the keyboard once again. ;-) The Balloon_Sked was originally intended for launch notifications but it's also a valuable source of information and contacts. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your project. 73, Bruce On 17/10/2012 11:06 PM, Steve Noskowicz wrote: OK. PEBCAK ERROR I didn't notice that I was in Google Groups. 73, Steve, K9DCI --- Steve Noskowicz <noskosteve at yahoo.com> wrote: Bruce, There are 658 hits for "balloon" when searching for a Yahoo Group. It seems Yahoo has taken the liberty to include individual messages when searching for a group name. Can you be more specific? 73, Steve, K9DCI USN (Vet) MOT (Ret) Ham (Yet) --- Bruce Coates <bruce.coates at sasktel.net> wrote: Hi Steve Your best bet would probably be to send a note to the Ballooning and/or GPSL Yahoo group(s). These are the two biggest and most active groups dedicated to high altitude ballooning. 73, Bruce - VE5BNC SABRE - http://ve5aa.dyndns.org/balloon On 17/10/2012 8:12 PM, Steve Noskowicz wrote: I received an email requesting information for using APRS for a high altitude balloon, college-type project. I'd like to get them high quality information/help. I have little information so far, and will filter the coms until I get more, but what will be the best links to feed to them, or the best person(s) to hook them up with? 73, Steve, K9DCI USN (Vet) MOT (Ret) Ham (Yet) _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ aprssig mailing list aprssig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aprssig -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
