"n" *does* use 5GHz.  I thought so and just checked:

That's a good price.  Now if only we could get something similar that
works in the 5 Ghz band to get away from the traffic on 2.4 Ghz.
(Even better would be 3.5 Ghz, 900 Mhz or 430 Mhz but that's another
