[aprssig] AIS over APRS-IS?

Sorry,

It is actualy not intended for APRS-IS, but for SAR organisations who
use private APRS servers (like the two I have set up for this purpose in
New Zealand and the Netherlands).
But I will put a warning in the software regarding this, so people will
not do this, and I will see if I can detect when it is an APRS-IS server
or not.

PS: aprs.fi shows AIS traffic. How does aprs.fi get this data? Over the
APRS-IS network, or does it get a private feed from AIS users??
