Thank goodness you are back! I was starting to worry about the future of APRS and ham radio in general if you weren't here!

Sure. It's kind of technical, but we can't wait to hear all your insightful questions on the off-topic. We've all been spending way too much time with fiber-to-the-home and 4G LTE, time for 1200 baud TCP/IP to make a comeback!

Andrew stop reading here------------

Everyone else:

All hands on deck! I know most of you have never done AX-25 TCP/IP, and probably the rest on the APRS SIG are like me and haven't even thought about it this millennium, but hey, it's for Andrew!

I can hear the doubters. Yes, it is hard to predict which way Andrew's unique and wonderful mind will head, and he is asking about APRS over DStar and APRSX today too, but since those are on-topic and cutting edge I'm sure this will be what holds his interest for the next few days.

This is my last day in Acadia National Park, and I had gotten up early to beat the crowds on a great loop hike up and over Dorr Mountain, but instead I'm going to stay in my RV and reread N8UR's book on ham TCP/IP from the late 90's.

I hope others will join me in putting nose-to-the-grindstone and face-into-the-wind, and prep themselves to help. For Andrew.

Andrew on three - 1 - 2 - 3 - ANDREW!
