[aprssig] Standardized format of WX data in APRS?

Unfortunately, there are two such standards. The one I support is the
all-in-one format (COMPLETE) that includes the position and all the WX info.
Thus, a single packet contains everything that is needed to plot the weather
on a map in real time.
The other format I never liked uses two separate packets. I call them the
"positionless weather" packet and the "weatherless-position" packet.
Neither are of much value by themselves and require the successful receipt
of two separate packets at different times on our non-lossless network and
then to be re-assembled into one collection before anything can be plotted.
Such interdependence of information is an anathema to the goal of APRS which
is situational awareness and complete data packets able to include all the
data that is needed in a single burst where possible.

As a beginner in this field, I wonder if there is just a single 'standard'
in data formats of weather stations used in APRS, or there are more standard
formats. Any document about? I ask that because some meteorology equipment
producers asked me about the way the weather data would be read in APRS. And
I did not know anything about. In addition, I noticed differences in how WX
stations present their data: Some show only the temperature reading (it is
usually close to their callsign on the map), while some other stations give
more weather details. Is that related to the WX equipment (the number &
quality of sensors), or the 'translation' of data from the sensors, or it is
related to the WX station operator's software? Tnx.
