It's not a real DSP, but it'll handle Bell 202 just fine. Over-the-air firmware upgrades are on the to-do list. I've already got it working with SD/MMC cards up to at least 128 megs, including FAT16 support (though it's not finished). You'll be able to trickle out firmware updates (or other arbitrary files) in an unconnected, batch-ACK'd mode that won't heavily impact an APRS channel - might take a day or three to update a mountaintop digi, but who cares? I haven't really been thinking much about implementing connected mode AX.25. Who uses conventional BBS's and mailboxes these days? I'd rather use the TCP/IP stack that's already available for the RTOS. That reminds me... I'm supposed to be evaluating CODECs tonight. Time to get to work... Scott N1VG
