Gents I generally agree with the sentiments expressed by James Ewen's 
post. For to long the currnet implementation of AX25 has been a 
limitation on our development of smart(er) protocols however we must not 
lose sight of a far more non technical impediment to overcome called Ego.

I suggest this human failing with raise its head at every bend in 
journey. And already we have seen it on this list not yet 1 week old.

Thanks for the bandwidth and I will be lurking with interest as the 
discussion widens.
