OpenTRAC, so far as I can see, does not belong anywhere near layer 2.
It appears to me to be a glorified APRS, which is an application *of*
AX.25, and is not AX.25 itself.

Therefore, I stand by my statements -- my proposal does not in any
way, shape, or form affect OpenTRAC.
