I hope in the next few weeks to do a RS(255,233) test using KISS. The protocol is not AX.25 but the HSMM protocol I mentioned in another message. The main delay element is getting a TNC, laptop, and radio in the truck so I can test over distance. Basically, I want to drive away using AX.25 until the error rate gets bad. Then switch to the FEC version, see if it works, and see how much further I can go. Where are you located?
