[Ham-80211] WAP11 antenna pigtail?

Due to the oddball coax fittings on the WAP11's, pigtails are kinda costly. Has anyone modified the existing antenna so's to make their own pigtail? I've not broke mine apart but it appears one could reuse the existing fitting on the antenna by adding a new chunk of coax to it with an N fitting on the opposite end. 73 de Jack - N7OO
