[hfsig] Some basic FSK questions

Thanks, Mill's paper answers a lot of my questions.

In his paper he front-ends the demodulator with some kind of limiter. 
Do you have any suggestions for a paper or an example that describes
the operation in detail? The link to his source code is dead, so I was
wondering what it entailed.
