OK the resolution of the camera is not great but SSTV pictures > do not have to be great either. That does seem like an odd misfeature. I found a fairly new ARM7-based chip from NXP today that I think I like better than the Atmel part I'd been planning to use for my next project. If I go with that, it'll have a lot more processing power to handle image processing. Alas, it still won't have enough internal RAM for frame buffer, but it's still 48 times more RAM than I have now! I see they've got 320x240 OLED displays out now - I wonder how much they're going for. And I wonder how long it'll be before you can get membrane keypads integrated with them... it'd certainly simplify the mechanical design. Scott N1VG
