I have never used 'make depend' with my JNOS compiles. I just do
a 'make clean' for the first time, then 'make' after that, and for
any subsequent recompiles. That has always worked fine for me.

I've noted the 'make depend' error and will put in the proper
fixes for the next release. Thanks for the info guys.
