Apparently this is a bug with the borland compiler. It means that
the PATH variable is too long. The bug only appears when you have
an element in your PATH which is approximately 62 characters or
more in length.
Look at your PATH environment variable, try and shorten it somehow,
or another solution from one of the posts to the borland group was,
if your path is too long add the following statement to your
config.sys file, then restart DOS :
shell=c:\command.com /e:8192 /p
The e is the environment size in bytes, 8192 should do it
Hope that helps. I'm going to try and get another DOS update
out as soon as I have a free moment.
