Hi Angela! It's worth mentioning that Borland Turbo C++ v4.0 and 4.5 also build JNOS quite well. The compilers presumably have fewer bugs, a potential advantage. The down side is the 3.1 was the last version to include an assembler, so you need to either set up a separate assembler (my solution) or keep the object files from the assembly code instead of nuking it with a "make clean"... 73 de Glenn WB6W ---- "Angela (M1SCH / PE1BIV)" <nos-bbs_mail at pe1biv.net> wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "George [ham] VerDuin" <k8rra at ameritech.net> > Sent: Saturday, December 26, 2009 6:46 PM > > > The URL http://jnoswiki.no-ip.org > > > > I must have missed it. > > I'm also one who totally mised all of this, simply due to JNOS, still 1.11f, > currently just running here and not getting an opportunity to checking out > JNOS 2, and as such also not really keeping up with all the messages. > > I will add the link to my JNOS links. > > > One of my problems is that I'm currently can not do any compilations anyway, > as I first have to find my C++ 3.1 floppies in one of the still unopened > (for too long) moving boxes and then install it on one of my machines.
