The HADDRESS refers to the BBS you call your HOME BBS.

My Mbox Haddress is: KG6BAJ.#nca.ca.usa.noam.

For any of my users that wish to recieve packet mail at my station, their haddress is alos : KG6BAJ.#nca.ca.usa.noam.

The breakdown is this:

KG6BAJ = root Callsign of the BBS
NCA = Sub-Region (if any) of the main region/state/area. In this case NCA is Northern California
CA = Main Region/State/Area. In this case CA is California
USA = Country. In this case USA is United States of America.
NOAM = Continent. In this case NOAM = North America.
There is a split of those that use NA for North America, and those that use NOAM for North America.

Here is the Continent break-down chart:

# -------------------------------
# AF = AFRICA
# AN = ANTARCTICA
# AS = ASIA
# AU = AUSTRALIA / OCEANIA
# EU = EUROPE
# CEAM = CENTRAL AMERICA ??
# NA = NORTH AMERICA
# NOAM = NORTH AMERICA
# SA = SOUTH AMERICA
# SOAM = SOUTH AMERICA

So, If you are going to run your own BBS, then from your QRZ info,
your HADDRESS might look like this: AK4GS.#wtn.tn.usa.noam

The ".#" part is a deliminator to specify "packet radio" versus "internet email"

If I were living in Tennessee, and using your BBS as my home BBS, then someone wanting to send me a packet message would address it like this:

" sp kg6baj at ak4gs.#wtn.tn.usa.noam "

Of course, you may want to use WTN for Western Tennesse, or NWTN for North Western, or whatever you're comfortable with.

Clear as mud now ?

Bill
KG6BAJ

For most that are already running a BBS, they would be
