Hi, Thanks for the reply. > Your SOURCE address likely was 44.x.y.z. Ah! that would do it certainly. 44.20.0.91 in my case. I was thinking it would be coming from the JNOS tunnel IP. > You *will* need to configure them to route your > 44 addr back to the hosting Linux box -- which will then have to accept it > and know to pass it up the TUN interface to the JNOS application. I can figure out the firewall settings to pass this from my static ip to that machine. Do you have any clues as to handle this inside the firewall? ARP on the host machine enough? I need to figure out how to update the AMPR DNS A entry with my static IP address too. >> Host computer: 10.10.10.90 mask 255.255.255.0 >> JSOS IP: 10.10.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0 >> ifconfig tun0 10.10.10.90 pointopoint 10.10.1.1 mtu 1500 up > > > Is the JNOS application actually running a Net-10 address? Or is this > just the IP address of the JNOS end of the TUNNEL? I programmed in 44.20.0.91 to autoexec.nos but I don't see any routing info from within JNOS for this. 10.10.1.1 is also in autoexec.nos as the tunnel endpoint. Joey
