NIST has reduced the cesium atomic clock to chip scale size (1.5mm x 1.5mm
x 4 mm)!!!!. while maintaining short term stability in the 10e10 region.
Pretty dramatic.
Does anyone have any knowledge of the commercialization potential of this
item. I.e., Is it being commercialized, what cost are we talking about
here???
