Shouldn't ntpd be able to do this?  My old Linux 2.4 box had no problem
communicating with the TAC-2 Oncore, but I don't see any reference to
"@@Cg" in the refclock_oncore.c code.  I've been using minicom (9600/8N1)
to try and communicate with it, and @@Cg doesn't appear to do anything. 
I've tried switching the TX/RX via JP1 and still can't get anything to
work.  I also tested each pin on the cable today and it all looks good. 
Hair pulling problem!
