Very tempting offer, but I'm a beginner at VHDL myself; all I could
offer is another pair of eyes looking at the code. What development
tools are you using for the code?

It's a divider board that accepts standard inputs from 100kHz through
10MHz, and outputs 1pps as well as several other divided frequencies.
It's based on a Xilinx CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) which
allows lots of flexibility in the inputs and outputs.

As a sort of pre-announcement, I will be looking for one or more
volunteers who are familiar with VHDL and ideally the Xilinx CPLD
devices ...  So, I'll be prepared to send an alpha or beta
unit to someone who's willing to optimize the code.
