Good afternoon.

I seem to be having some difficulty in getting my emails to the correct
place: maybe I am being a little dumb! Any way I sent a mail to
<mailto:'vna at lists.tapr.org'> 'vna at lists.tapr.org' with the data below
enclosed, as well as a screen shot ( attachment) of the windows error
message, but the attachment was scrubbed, as was the body of my mail (as
below) I hope this one works and that someone can then guide me as to how to
get the attachment to the correct destination!

I have been using the TAPR VNA with good success and have enjoyed the
product. I have just recently seen the Beta 2 release and am trying to load
it, but...

I am having some difficulty attempting to get Beta vers 2.0.1 to run. I have
loaded the DotnetFX 2.0 software onto my Windows XP-Pro machine with no
problems. I then loaded Beta 2, and was requested to first remove the
existing VNA software, which I did. Beta 2.0 then loaded fine. I the ran the
VNA software with VNA attached and attempted to do Detector Calibration
which returned the error message screen I have included in the attachment. I
also tried to see which software version was loaded by checking Help,
About, which the returned the same error screen. Using calibration data
files from VNA vers 1.6 seemed to allow Beta VNA 2.0 to run scans which
appeared to make sense by comparing them with runs using Vers 1.6. Also a
Fixture Calibration seemed to run ok, although I am not sure if the
resulting cal file is good. Did not seem different from the results of scans
using vers 1.6. Am not unhappy using vers 1.6, but am concerned that if I
cannot load Beta 2.0, I may not be able to load future version either.

The attached error file (screen capture of error screen) leaves me in the
dark!

Note : the attatchment contains data to the effect -

could not find any resources for the specified culture or neutral culture.
Make sure the 'VNA3.instrumentCal.resources' was correctly embedded or
linked into assembly 'VNA3' at compile time, etc,etc

Thanks for any advice.
