I've been playing with my new VNA for a while and think I
have it mostly figured out. However, there is one thing that
is giving me fits. I tried to measure loss and phase shift
through my receive 4 square controller, The phase readings
seemed to be accurate but the amplitude was funny. I found
that with the fixture cal turned off, the amplitude readings
were OK but when turned on, they jumped up about 40 db! So
instead of seeing about a 6 db loss I'm seeing about 34 db
gain! I redid all the cals with no improvement.

I looked for the FAQ on the TAPR site but was unable to locate
it.
