Jim: Nothing more at this time. I will try to find some time this weekend to fiddle around. The problem can't be universal as I'm hoping I would have heard something from another V3 user. The code for the T238 and T238+ is identical. I'm going to go see if I can find something weird that may be dependent on something else. will -----Original Message----- From: wxsig-bounces at lists.tapr.org [mailto:wxsig-bounces at lists.tapr.org] On Behalf Of Jim Nielson Sent: Tuesday, December 06, 2005 11:06 PM To: wxsig at lists.tapr.org Subject: [wxsig] Update on wind direction problem It's an AAG v3. I've gone back probably half a dozen times or more and it is consistent. It only doesn't work in "modem" mode. I haven't tried other cabling, just a short piece of phone wire. I could spool off a hundred feet of cat-5 and try that... My actual weather site is 25 miles south of here so I'm not going to take it out there for testing. No phone or internet (for the winter anyway). Any other testing you want me to do, let me know!
