Thanks for the input. The "problem" was really a very simple one, and is due to the interface that I was using -- the DS 9097U which is a serial 1-wire interface. It is assuming that the devices are all powered by the 1-wire bus - and the temperature monitor on the board is powered by the bus, so it worked. There are only two wires coming out of this interface -- i.e. "true" 1-wire interface. However, the humidity sensor and Battery monitor expect to see 5V -- through the extra pins on the connector. I hooked up a 5V supply to the pins (P2 and ground) and the humidity circuit worked fine. This explains the confusion I had when performing the test under the AAG section of the instructions - i.e. no 5V. So -- for anyone using the direct computer interface like the DS9097U instead of the T238+ or inside weather board, they need to supply 5V to the two extra pins on the cable. This does get swapped when you go through the AAG Weather station, so have to be careful here. I found a "power injector" from "hobby boards" that interfaces either a 5V or 15V power supply to the bus -- with RJ-45 connectors. They also have adapter cables to go from RJ-45 to RJ-11 if you need to. Thanks a lot for the help. Steve Allen KT6S
