Will, I think it is actually the "In memory of" screen that it gets stuck on. I'll check the areas that you mentioned and see what I can come up with. I have not noticed that the busy light is on, but the modem is not connected to a radio yet. I checked the LEDs with the shorting method described in the checkout section of the construction manual and they worked fine. I will follow your suggestions and let you know.
