Not sure if this answers your question, but the T238 Classic and the T238+ 
use the same code.  From a hardware standpoint, the 1-wire interface is 
the same also.  

You would want to update the Classic with Will's latest release to be sure 
you have the X1W-1 support in it.  I don't thing the early versions of the 
code had support.
