Glad to hear things are working OK.
The kits were put together a long time ago so the software has "matured"
since then.  Hopefully didn't cause too much consternation!

Following the advice below, I upgraded the firmware and the station is now
transmitting packets (AI4GF-4).  I appreciate all the help!  Comsidering the
depths of my ignorance of electronics, it is very satisfying to have the
station working!
