Hi, Rich! I've assembled my T238 one month ago and bought that 50 dollar humidity sensor from AAG, which seems identical to the TAPR kit (look at the schematics). But I can't read the humidity with it. The station doesn't recognize the sensor, I don't know why. I tested the sensor with a usb adapter and proper software and it is ok. I've asked for some help from Will, the "weather station master" here on the list but he couldn't help me. Maybe he has new ideas! These would be useful to me too as I can't do anything with the station right now... Good luck, Rui MR Pinto CT2JKO http://www.ct2jko.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rich Beckwith" <rjbeckwith at gmail.com> To: "TAPR Weather Station SIG Mailing List" <wxsig at tapr.org> Sent: Saturday, April 18, 2009 5:14 PM Subject: [wxsig] Humidity Sensor > Does anyone know if the humidity sensors from AAG > http://www.aag.com.mx/aagusa/index1.html ($50) > or from Hobby Boards > http://www.hobby-boards.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25_27&products_id=47 > ($45.50) > with the T238? > > I am looking for a less expensive alternative to the TAPR X1W-2V2 > http://tapr.org/kits_x1w-2.html ($98). > > Rich - wn0x > _______________________________________________ > wxsig mailing list > wxsig at tapr.org > https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wxsig > > __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus > signature database 4003 (20090412) __________ > > The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. > > http://www.eset.com > > >
