Dave: Not sure what you mean by the mother board? Dallas only made sensors, they assumed that you would be running the weather station on a PC using one of their RS-232 to 1-wire adapters. What we did with the T238 was to build a stand-alone board to get data from those sensors instead of a PC. Schematics for most boards are available, so with a bit more detail, we can point you in the right direction. will -----Original Message----- From: wxsig-bounces at tapr.org [mailto:wxsig-bounces at tapr.org] On Behalf Of dave Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2009 8:24 PM To: TAPR Weather Station SIG Mailing List Subject: Re: [wxsig] questions the mother board dave John Koster wrote: > Yes, I bought one of their WX stations before they quite selling them. > The whole T238 system was developed back before AAG came out with their > clone. > > PCB layout for which? > > On Sat, 28 Feb 2009, dave wrote: > > >> will the original sensors from dallas ( i think that is where they are >> from) work with the t238+ >> >> and are there pcb layout ( traces) available? >> or am i stuck with the tapr stuff? money is an problem. >> >> dave k7da >> >> >> > > _______________________________________________ wxsig mailing list wxsig at tapr.org https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wxsig
