Will:

An envelope arrived from Maxim today! I have a pair of DS1094Ls. I'll let
you know how the development goes.

Will:

Good news is that the core method of determining the time is the same
between the two devices. It is simply a 32-bit counter that increments every
second and they assume you set the time to "Unix time" which is the number
of seconds since midnight 1/1/1970.

Not-so-good news is that everything else is different. A different family
ID, and different internal addressing to get to that counter.

So, code changes are required to support the DS1904, but only to get the
data, the other 95% of the code to convert that counter value to a date/time
should not need modifying.

I tried placing a sample order for one and will see if I get it. The reply
email said it needed "Business manager approval", so not-so-sure yet.

Great thanks. If needed, I can be a guinea pig. Hmm. Maybe I should get
another kit.....
