[wxsig] Ds1994, how to connect?

SW Rev 1.15.4 is pretty old, it was the initial release to get the T238+
out, I would recommend 1.16.1 which is the latest. Lot of bugs have been
fixed since then. I am pretty confident your issue isn't related to the SW
rev, but you will avoid a lot of other issues that got fixed with the later

If you get no message regarding the DS1994 on power up and you know it is
good, that pretty much leaves the wiring, is there any way you can
independently verify that the wires to the ibutton reader are not reversed?

Thanks Will,

I conected it, and after swith it on, when t238 starts, say will and
russ... in memory of Dr. Morgan... and shows temp reading. No other
message comes out.

Wiring and connector has been discarded, I soldered the wires to the
temp sensor, because temp sensor is working properly.

1994 is working on the pc, yesterday i programmed it. Today I have
checked it and computer says it is less 1 second from pc clock, so I
consider it is properly programmed.

Just a note, sw is 1.15.4R, could this affect?, should i upgrade sw version?

Note #2, ibutton is marked as LC1 DS1994L+F5, maybe it is another family?

any idea? any test?
